I cannot tell you how excited I am to be doing this product review today for UncommonGoods. They asked us if we were interested in reviewing something from their Mother’s Day collection and I jumped at the chance.
Uncommon Goods is a privately-owned retailer headquartered in Brooklyn, NY that endeavors to feature unique designs and handcrafted gifts in harmony with the environment and without harm to animals or people. They are great to their employees and support non-profits such as RAINN, American Forests, Women for Women International and City Harvest. Also, with every purchase you make, Uncommon Goods donates $1 to the charity of your choice!
The item I chose to review was this literary scarf featuring an excerpt from Wuthering Heights. I’ve been eyeing literary scarves for a while now, and I love this one! It’s one of those things that you eye and never buy yourself because you’re always spending money on the kids… the sort of thing that would make a great Mother’s Day gift! It’s an infinity scarf, so it just doubles simply and hugs your neck like so:
Or, you could even leave it longer if you like…
It’s so versatile and will go with anything. This one has brown wording, but some of the others have black print instead, so you can choose what looks best with your wardrobe.
Uncommon Goods has a lot of other great gift items for any mom on your list. I especially loved this parent nestling necklace:
They also had some fun kitchen and garden items too. Go take a look!
And now for the fun part! The folks at Uncommon Goods have given me a $20 gift certificate to giveaway to one of our readers! All you have to do is leave a comment below to qualify! Disclaimer: I was given a scarf by Uncommon Goods in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed in this post are my own! P.S. Look at those lovely Texas Bluebonnets in my back yard!
