Photography 101: Posing Three Girls

When posing three girls (or three people, for that matter), I always try to make either a triangle or diagonal line.

I thought it might be fun to take a stroll down memory lane and look at some examples.

Of course, when they’re little, it helps to give them something to do… and someplace to contain them if they’re prone to crawl off:

girls3All three on the floor in a line is always cute.  Look. At. The. CURLS.

girlsOr, you can go for the triangle.  That baby… she was trouble from the get go…

I especially love this one where their eyes are lined up…

girls9Something I’ve had to remind myself over the years… as I get frustrated at my inability to get the “perfect” picture of my three beauties… is to have fun and enjoy the ride.

They don’t stay little for long.

I love your photography posts. I learn so much. I’m not very good at photography and someday I hope to have a much better camera. But now that I read these posts I do think a little more about shots as I take aim. :) Thanks for the great tips.
