Mozzarella Bites

These have become some of my kids favorite after school snacks lately – and they’re so easy to make!  They’re also great for a party appetizer.  Who doesn’t like bread and cheese?  The recipe basically has two ingredients (a few more to be fancy)… Have you seen these beauties in your grocery store?  They make such a great little snack:

1 package original Grand biscuits
16 fresh mozzarella balls
Melted butter – about 2-3 Tbs.
Dried oregano
Shredded Parmesan cheese

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
Use 1/2 of a biscuit for each ball.  Flatten with fingers, place one mozzarella ball in the middle and cover it with the biscuit dough, making sure to seal all the seams.  Place, seam-side down, on a greased cookie sheet.  Brush with melted butter.  Put a shake of oregano and a pinch of shredded parmesan cheese on top of each roll.  Bake at 375 degrees for 15-18 minutes.

These are so yummy right out of the oven!  They don’t last long.
