… I would read my Bible daily all the time, and not just haphazardly.
… I would be motivated to work out daily and control my eating habits.
… I would have an orderly, clean house. All the time.
… I would have the perfect school routine and my kids would love to learn.
… My laundry would stay caught-up.
… My husband would have a closet full of ironed clothes to pick from every day instead of 1 or 2 that I ironed the night before or the morning of.
… I would feed my family a diet of whole foods, no sugar or processed foods.
… I would not crave Diet Dr. Pepper or caffeine.
… I would have “spare time” for me.
… I would remain calm despite stress and aggravations.
… I read my Bible, but not daily.
… My house is a mess. My kitchen sink is piled with dishes and clutter multiplies itself.
… My laundry runneth-over, as usual.
… I ironed Kevin’s clothes this morning as he was getting ready for work.
… I am THIS close to heading to Sonic for a DDP.
… I fed my kids Ramen for lunch.
… I look at the treadmill as a place to hang clothes.
… I feel miserable and depressed about being overweight and making unhealthy food choices.
… My kids complain about school work.
… My lesson plans are done on a day-to-day basis, or when I’m on top of things, bi-weekly.
… My “me time” comes at 11 or 12 at night, and then I wake up cranky the next day because I stayed up too late.
… I lose my temper far too frequently.
I’m not really a failure in all areas at once. If I get better in one area, though, others seem to suffer. I guess I just still have a lot of growing to do. Please tell me I’m not the only one.
