How to Boil Eggs

Okay, I know this is pretty simple stuff… but I was over 30 before I learned how to correctly boil an egg and have it turn out right EVERY time.  So, I thought I’d share the foul-proof way I’ve come to know…

First, put your layer of eggs in the bottom of the pan – they must all touch the bottom – don’t stack them.  Fill with water until just above the eggs.

Bring to a boil, uncovered.

Once the eggs have come to a complete boil, turn off the burner/remove from heat.  Cover, and let set 15 minutes.

That’s IT.  Yep, really!  Perfect boiled eggs every time.

It worked for me too! I never knew how long to leave them in the pot. Thanks!
