When I was growing up, this was my mom’s go-to dessert anytime my dad had to take something to work for a pot-luck. I think she would have preferred to make something else at times, but my dad always asked for this dish. It’s both easy and tasty — what’s not to love?
1 can fruit pie filling (my favorite is spiced apple, but cherry runs a close second)
1 box white cake mix
1 stick butter
In a 9×9 baking dish, spread the pie filling.
