My Thoughts:

I got a free copy of this book through Blogging for Books in exchange for an honest review.  I have a daughter with a higher-than-normal anxiety level, and I thought this book might help me with some strategies to use with her.  However, I found that for the most part, the book deals with disorders that are (thankfully) far beyond what I would classify as “normal” or maybe a little more than “normal’ anxiety.  So, it didn’t apply to me as much as I expected it to.  Which was a good thing.

I do think it’s a good reference book, and definitely one that would be beneficial to have on hand for any parent whose child or children suffer from varying degrees of anxiety disorders.
