31 Days of Meal Planning – The Family Table

Whether it’s a good thing or not, so much life happens around the table.  When it comes down to it, being on top of my meal planning and cooking at home contributes to more time for my family to connect around the dinner table.  We don’t spend every meal there, but we do spend many of them.  And when we do, we talk about our days, our lives – the good, and the bad.

Yesterday I wrote a little bit about finding your “why”.  And that’s mine.  I do this for my family.  Saving money on not eating out is a motivating factor as well, but in the end, it makes me feel like I’m caring for my family.  I’m seasoning my dinners with love.  And I love when we all sit down at a meal together, put away the phones and share our lives.  Meaningful connection at it’s finest.

It’s a wrap. I’ve enjoyed your series, especially since I have been in the kitchen too this month. Whew! We have covered a lot of information haven’t we? Thanks for sharing all your meal planning tips.
