31 Days of Meal Planning – Meal Prep

There are plenty of people out there who can help you with serious meal prep, if that’s what you’re looking for.  There are people who prepare all their meals for a month in a weekend and such.  I’m not that awesome.  Every little bit helps, though, so I do try and work smarter, not harder.  If I have multiple meals for a week that call for cooked ground beef, I will cook it all at once.  I frequently cook more chicken than I need so I can use it in dishes later.  I also chop onions/tomatoes all at once for the week as well.  If you are ambitious, you can wash and chop all your veggies when you first get them home, and then they’re ready when it’s time to cook.  What about you?  How much meal prep do you do each week?

Not much beyond one meal at a time, although it is a good idea. Our life has been really busy and real dinners random lately. I am looking forward to planning actual meals more than one day ahead.
